Wheal Jane Earth Science Park, Cornwall

KCML were appointed to compile a Budget Cost Estimate Report based on a RIBA Stage 2: Concept Layout from the Architect which detailed the remodelling of a commercial office space to foster more frequent interactions and collaborative spaces. 

 

Subsequently, we performed a design review to develop and ascertain the build specification in conjunction with the Client's requirements. Once completed, we were able to engage our supply chain to enable real-time cost data, specifications and lead-in periods for office furniture, glazed partitions, integrated panel systems, suspended ceilings, floor coverings and a balcony roof covering. 

 

To complete the report, we included a 'BCIS Tender Price Indices Forecast', a 'Average Prices £/m2 Study' for an office conversion based in Cornwall and the 'Average Preliminary Percentages' associated with such a build".

8-10 Moorgate | The Banking Hall, London

The eight-storey Moorgate development blends original characteristics with modern elements, from a retained façade to a rooftop open-air terrace below a contemporary glass curtain wall, and offers uncompromised floor space with high-spec finishes. In 2014, ING Bank entered into an 18-year-lease agreement to take the full 130,000 sq ft of office space.

Sky Central has over 3,500 employees based in the building, which has been designed to promote flexibility, openness and ease of access. The project delivered the client’s aspirations for a super-fast, super-flexible building through the use of prefabrication and simple yet robust detailing and design.

One Bank Street, London

One Bank Street is a 27-storey office at the western end of the Canary Wharf Estate. Built within a cofferdam within the South Dock, the building provides over 700,000ft2 of prime office space in a range of floor plate sizes, including several large floors for trading operations.
